My friend tries to photobomb panorama, instead panorama makes him a god.

lol I ran in front of the middle school band director when he was taking a long-exposure pic of the field while teching for our high school and…

I’M WATCHING.

I was in the vinyl section of a shop today and was innocently looking around at the beautiful beautiful records when these two girls come over to the section (which is sadly small) and pick up a 7” copy of a 5 Seconds of Summer record. After exclaiming how good looking they are, one of them takes it out of the sleeve and says to the other “I don’t get it, do you like put it on a wall or something?”

I can almost hear the cries of Jack White.

Comic about slurs, published in the Galago magazine last summer.

And this is really how it is. Instead of placing the onus on us and asking why we don’t say anything, ask yourselves instead why you don’t think it’s a problem that it goes unchecked.

I fight Rape Culture because
When I told my ex boyfriend about my rape
He ‘forgave’ me.

I fight Rape Culture because
I saw my baby sister age overnight
As she told me about her best friend getting molested.

I fight Rape Culture because
My closest friend was abused as a child
And he told nobody but me.
It took him 13 years to open up.

I fight Rape Culture because
My friends admit to letting their partners fuck them when they don’t want it
Then laugh it off as typical male behaviour.

I fight Rape Culture because
Saying that you’re raping someone is perfectly acceptable
If you’re playing a video game.

I fight Rape Culture because
Men tell me they are insulted when women walking in front of them start to walk faster.
As if their ego is more important than our safety.

I fight Rape Culture because
If I tell somebody their rape joke isn’t funny
I am told that I’m uptight.

I fight Rape Culture because
It won’t die out
Unless we kill it ourselves.

Fun Fact: Quiet people are aware that they are quiet. They don’t need you to point it out to them. They know. Please stop.

Thank you
